Questions to Consider Before Adopting A Puppy

Am I ready for the lifelong commitment of a puppy?

Getting a new puppy requires patience, dedication, and time. There will be an adjustment period as they get acclimated to your new home. Be patient as you train them basic commands and potty train them. Having a well-behaved older dog requires an investment of time and energy when they are still a puppy.

Cavaliers are a sensitive breed, so aggressive scolding or yelling as a punishment is not advisable. It can be helpful to read online resources or watch videos to prepare to train your puppy before it comes home.

Can I afford proper care for a puppy?

Is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel the right breed for me?

CKCS are one of the most loving, people-oriented breeds of dogs. They are known to be companion dogs and excellent for all age groups.

We encourage prospective puppy parents to visit out "About the Breed" page to learn more about CKCS and determine if the breed is the right fit for your lifestyle.
